Bio
Doris Sung is Toronto-based visual
artist and curator. She is currently a PhD candidate in the Humanities program at York University, Toronto. Her research
investigates the current development of visual culture in the People’s
Republic of China (PRC), Taiwan, Hong Kong and the Chinese diaspora, with
the focus on issues of race, gender, sexuality and identity construction in
visuality. Sung has served on the board of various artist-run, not-for
profit organizations in Toronto.
